The local calling area where we operate is changing from a 7 to a 10 digit calling format for local calls. Has anyone done this at your facility? Could you share the steps needed to make this adjustment? Thank you very much.

'cha ars ana' enter you new 10 digit numbers. You may need to add a new route pattern as well if you not currently routing 10 digit calls.

In you ARS Digit Conversion table you can grab the 7-digit numbers, delete 0 digits, and insert the 1+NPA.

FWIW This applies If you have some phones restricted to local calls only having ARS send these calls to an RHNPA table would give you route pattern/FRL control based on the callers COR/FRL and the office code that they dial. I find the RHNPA table is easier to manage as new numbers are added to a given area code.
