we are currently having problems with certain staff making excessive personal outgoing calls does anyone know of a way to block a certain number in the definity.

type "cha ars an 1", go to the second page, type the phone number as it is dialed, 1-xxx-555-1122, put in the min and max digits, and in route pattern type "deny", and put in a call type. Once this is in the ars table, they will get re-order tone when they attempt to dial that number.

thanks for your reply...unfortunately when i add the number to the second page it shows on page one when i re-enter the ch ars an 1 option. we also have to dial 9 to ring out do we need to keep\remove this?

also can i type anything under call type...tried intl.

thanks in advance!

call type 'deny'. Once you enter the command it will move to it logically place numberically in order. Dont worry about the 9. The ars table is every thing after you dial 9.
