I am developing a website for a friend. He is using paypal to sell a product. He wants a meter or counter on his site to show how many items have been sold so far.

Is this possible? If so, can someone point me to some simple code?

Thanks.

That's going to depend on what programming language is available to you on the server that's going to host this.

You'll want to store the value somewhere on the server so a file or database would be required.

When you know what language you can use you can hit the relevant forums for more detailed answers, as it stands HTML alone is not capable of keeping count.
