I've made a function with an phase to call the system function linked table manager.

DoCmd.RunCommand (acCmdLinkedTableManager)

And i want to retrieve the value after the operation by linked table manager. Could anyone tell me how?

Retrieve the value of what?

Just runs the Linked Table Manager where you can reset the links. What "value" are you expecting to get?

I want to retrieve the path of the linking database for example.

I want to see also the script of the form Linked Table Manager to know how it works. Is it possible?

Thanks

Thinks anyway.

But not exactly i want. I want to see how dose it work the intern function of Access.
Can we see the code of this form "acCmdLinkedTableManager" somewhere?

yanggy,
In a word, no.

This will let you check the new path of the linked table with a simple query.
[tt]SELECT Name, Database FROM MSysObjects WHERE Type=6;[/tt]

Hope this helps,
