Hi all,
A user asked me if I could block two specific numbers (one of them international) from being able to reach her DID. I've never done this before but remember reading something on this forum. I tried to search for it but no luck. Can someone help me with this, please?
Definity G3si ver. 12
Thank you

Depends on how much effort you want to put in.
You could intercept here DID and use a vector to check the ANI and reject the call based on the number in a list.
You could also use EC500, setup a dummy station that has no rights to dial anything and assign the 2 numbers you want to block as the off pbx station number for that dummy extension. I am sure they are some other ways as well.

Thank you. I do not want to put too much effort in this. I checked the thread you posted and also thread referred to in that thread. A VDN method looks appealing. I just don't know how to tell vector to check for ANI. Would you happen to have an example of such vector?
Thank you

02 goto step 09 if ani = 603xxxxxxx
03 goto step 09 if ani = 585xxxxxxx
04 route-to number 2345 with cov y if unconditionally
09 disconnect after announcement none
10 stop

Thanks,

Ooops. Just found out that ANI/II digit routing is not enable in my system. I guess I'm out of luck here....:(
