HotSync won't sync Contacts

My palm - using pocket mirror with the hotsync application - syncs fine with all my folders in Outlook (2000), except it keeps telling me that it cannot access my Contacts.

My Contacts are not in a subfolder or anything. I have done everything I can think of - checked all the pocket mirror settings, downloaded free upgrades of the software from the Chapura website, etc.. Still, it can't find my Contacts. Any suggestions?

I am having a similar problem although I am not getting any error messages. It will sync everything fine except the contacts list. Anyone with a fix?

I have had this type of problem with a palm 3 and my new/used Tungsten T w/V.5. Be sure to make a backup copy of your palm folde before you try this.
My best suggestion is to go to the hotsync manager, Custom... tab, and set your config to Handheld overwrites desktop, or possibly vice-versa. the first works for me. then normal sync . Afterward, things get ok for a while.
I have also beamed my address book to my old palm for backup.
