We recently changed from WordPerfect to MSWord 2002. I wasn't thrilled by that but I figured that at least I would already know all the basic navigation key strokes. Instead I feel like I'm in an old version of the Mac OS.

So, why doesn't "home" do anything? Why can't I get to the top of the document by hitting ctrl+home? Ok, you don't have to answer those questions. Just tell me, can you tell me a way to get to the top of the document in one key stroke combination?
 
Not to worry: you aren't the first or last to trip up over those innocent looking WordPerfect Help and Nav key options. They actually refer to a really ancient DOS version of WordPerfect which is pretty irrelevant to just about everyone these days!

Microsoft have been unable to remove this obsolete feature because of some unexpected side effects.
