We have and IP Office 403 and we're trying to program our holiday scedule. This is what we would like to do.

(1)Create a script in which all the holidays for the current year can be programmed at one time so when the holiday occurs, all callers hear the "closed" message and after the holiday, our standard message is played automatically. Are there step by step directions or can someone tell us how to do this?

(2) Also can this be further expanded so that one week, or whatever time frame is designated, before the holiday that a holiday message is played and when the holiday occurs, the appropriate "closed" message is played and after the holiday, our standard message is played automatically? Are there step by step directions or can someone tell us how to do this?

Thanks

I did this for a customer. Twelve Holidays I believe. The programming was rather extensive and I had to bop through several modules just to keep it all somewhat orderly. But now the holidays are defined and the schedule also accommodates a one hour daily lunch break.

It is basic callflow work with voicemail pro. You will need to test calender conditions etc.

Go through the examples for voicemail pro in the help files or use the engineers toolkit which available through the avaya website.

Create a test call flow and practice
