I recently bought a fire-wire Capture Card IEEE 1394, and have a JVC GR-DVL505. It's a Digital Camera and I'm having trouble getting ULEAD Media Studio Pro 6.0 to capture anything. All it shows is choppy colors on the screen. But a few of the "BLOCKS" come through clear. Do I need a certain codec or have to calibrate something? I'm new to video capture and would really like some help from someone. Does OHCI compliant mean anything? The capture card requires the camera and software to be OHCI compliant, but I think it is. It registers the existence of the DV camera and everything loads up fine. The only problem is getting a clear image.

alright. thanks.
