I seem to be having a problem with my stroke size in Illustrator 9 and 10. It's set on "1" but the stroke is huge! It doesn't matter what shape I use either. I try to set it to the least amount that they give, but it's still big.

Now, I was told that every time I open Illustrator with a new document, I should go under the swatch menu and hit default but it didn't work for me. I was also told to throw my preferences away and that should work. I tried it for 10 and it didn't work so i tried it for 9 and it worked but I wound up shutting it down. When I opened 9 up again, it was right back to that huge stroke again! What gives? BTW, I'm running off a Mac if that helps any. Thanks for any help, it is greatly appreciated. :)

If you stroke is a custom brush it can be huge if you stroke a shape much smaller than the original brush. This can be fixed by checking proportional in the brush options. Also try downloading the 2 AI patches from adobe.com BEHOLD! As Steve Jobs introduces us the latest in desk-lamp technology!
