I have a trunk group that has two DS1 circuit packs (TN464). I would like to remove one of the DS1s (no longer needed).

I've removed the members from the Trunk Group and Removed the associated signalling group. I then used REMOVE DS1 <location> and confirmed the remove of the DS1.

BUT, I get an alarm when I pull the card out and LIST CONF ALL (or LIST CONF DS1) still shows the DS1 card.

How can I remove this? (I'll need to do this to 3 other cards, too. The switch is a G3si R10.0.

You can manually remove it from the config by using the change cabinet X command. Insert the cabinet number where the DS1 is located in place of the X.

Hope this helps!

I goofed. The command is change circuit-packs. Sorry about that!

Ahh! That did it!

Many thanks!
