Headset

I am connecting a headset with base unit to a 2050 handset and have to remove the handset from the craddle for it to work.

Is there a way to leave the handset in the cradle. I have used the headset toggle button and off hook station with no luck.

Please help!

No, this is a hardware requirement of the 20XX phones.

You could remove the hookswitch button unfortunatly if you do this when the phone is reset it will be operating as a speaker phone untill the hookswich is depressed & released.
