Hello
I am running some awk scripts and getting the foll output in 3 different files.
file m1
floor
bracket
..
file m2
1
2
...
file m3
45%
34%
..

I do a paste m1 m2 m3 in to a new file.
My final file looks like
floor 1 45%
bracket 2 34%

But my final file should look like
**************
name id %
**************
floor 1 45%
bracket 2 34%
...

How do I include the header in to my final file(i.e name,id,% )

Regards
MP

How about doing 'echo' to a new file PRIOR to 'paste-ing'?

echo > newFile <<EOF
**************
name id %
**************
EOF vlad

|#include<disclaimer.h> |

Hi vlad
That works fine.
Thanks.
