Having Visio add up shape properties

I am trying to configure Visio so it adds up certain custom properties and compare the result to a given value.

Let's say I have a room of a certain length, with, inside it, 2 walls and 1 door with a custom property called length (I want to be able to make out-of-scale drawings). Now I would like Visio to compute the sum of the lengths of those objects attached together (the 2 walls and the door) and compare it to the length of the room and, if possible, tell me by how much they differ.
Is this possible with Visio?

I seem to recall covering this before - a quick search gives thread172-623083 (towards the bottom of the thread)
