GWDT31.DLL Error

Hi,

Can anyone help me with this? I'm really stuck!

I'm having a problem with three different Windows 98 machines. When we try and install GroupWise we get the error "LoadLibrary Failed C:\Novell\GroupWise\Gwdt31.dll".

I've tried all the usual - GroupWise Cleaning Agent, reinstall, even been through the registry manually removing entries, tried from another installation directory, tried older and newer versions of the client - nothing works. We even reinstalled one machine and the problem came back again!

Can anyone help?

Is this following a user(s) or just the 3 computers? What version of GW? What version of client? Has GW ever worked on these pc's?

This appears to be a problem with the Enhancement Pack. You might try loading a C3PO and see what happens. See:

Thanks for the info; appreciate it! I'll try installing a C3PO and see what happens.

This is three individual machines that we're talking about. The problem occurs on the machine and is not related to the user (at least not to the user's GroupWise account, anyway!). We're running GW5.5 EP SP3 - client version is 5.5.5.4. I've tried installing a 5.5 (non-EP) client and a 6.01 client but still get the same error.

The machine I'm doing all the work on had the problem occur a couple of months back. We ended up reinstalling it, which got rid of the problem temporarily. It then came back again. The user swears (of course) that he didn't install any software etc. around this time.
