I checked up offmsg directory on my server and i found that one of msgxx.db files is ca 750MB big (other msgxx.db files are <10MB big).
1. Is there any way to find the reason why this file is so big?
2. Is there any way to reduce its size?

I bet you have AT LEAST one of your Users with an EXTREMELY large Mailbox (USERxxx.DB) in the OFUSERS directory. If that is the case, have your Users save attachments to the Server or Workstation and begin cleanup of the Mailbox.

The MSGxx.DB files are where any message above 2k is stored. There si a way to figure out which Users are using which MSGxx.DB files, but I don't remember how.

If I figure it out I will let you know.

Good Luck!

OIAman,

Run a OFcheck on the Post office. That will give you a break down of what users are in what db. It is not unusual for one user to make a msg db grow out of control. Once you have the information on who is giving you the trouble, you can put limits on how long they can save information, or you can use ofcheck to expire messages over a particular age.
