Groupshield Exchange 5.1 is blocking and quarantining all zip files. I have checked and blocking isn't set up. It is set to scan all files, clean, and quarantine if it can't clean. Here is the alert I receive when one is found.

The file 51851852.zip is infected with '_'. Detected with Scan Engine 4.2.40 DAT version 4.2.4274.(from SERVER Serial# 3) IP user SYSTEM running GroupShield 5.10.285.0 OAS)

It has been blocking incoming zips for a while, but last night I did my first brick-level backup and it looks like the on-access quarantined a lot more zip files.
Has anyone seen this before?

Thanks
Mark

I'm assuming you're using Exchange 5.5 with GroupShield 5.0 SP1, right?

If so, you need to apply HF2 to fix this. It's available for download from the NAI web site.

Exchange 2000. I talked to McAfee and they suggested I install Groupshield 5.2, so I plan to do that on Monday. They also told me that if the zip file is password protected, that it will be blocked anyway, which I don't understand.
Thanks
Mark

If you want your password protected zip files to pass through, then you have to modify your registry. Be careful as the registry entry is different depending on the version of Groupshield you're running. Do a search at mcafee to find the correct entry to add.
