Group sum with condition 1

I would like to get a sum for a field by group with a condition for filtering the field (when the field = x). How does one create a formula for a sum with a condition?

There are two ways to do this:

1. Use a Running Total. You can include a condition in the setup and reset it on change of group.

2. Create a formula and sum it for the group. The formula will be in the format:

If {table.FilterField} = 'X' then {table.field_to_sum} else 0
