group calling setup

Hello everyone,

I am a novice with phone systems and I need to setup a calling group so that when calls come in from outside it rings a group of phones not just mine.

Currently when calls come in from outside, my phone (ext. 3816) rings, but I'd also like exts. 3812,3814,3843 to ring simultaneously, so whomever picks up first, get that call.

I have a merlin magix system and winspm.

Can somebody please help me with this???

Easiest way would be to add a Primary Coverage button for your extension on the other extensions.

You'll need a blank button with a light next to it. Press SPKR, dial 00, press the button you want to program, dial *40, dial your extension number, look at the LCD display, you should see "Enter" above the right-most button under the display, press that enter button, then press SPKR.

When your extension rings, so does the Primary Coverage button.
