How can i go to a record in the single form? I can go to the control productid with the command DoCmd.GoToControl "productid" .
On opening the form i want to go to the record productid = 13. How can i go this record ?

Instead of:

[blue]DoCmd.GoToControl "productid"[/blue]

the more accepted practice is:

[blue]Me!ProductID.[purple][b]SetFocus[/b][/purple][/blue]

You can also use a recordsetclone to goto the record, but PHV has provided the most direct method.
