Am I missing something? I turned on Wake on Lan in the Bios on are Dell Optiplex Gx520 Machines, the Dell switches have fastlink enabled, the workstations have registered themselves. I can remote view and remote control machines that are already turned on but in Console one when I click actions, then remote wakeup, all it does is just sit there saying trying to wake up the machine please wait, it sits there for the longest time and does nothing more. Im issuing this command to a machine thats over are Wan. Maybe I missed something help please.

unless configured, broadcast messages do not go out over a wan. Routers do not route broadcast messages unless a helpper is configured.
