I'm just trying to figure out where there isn't a category for the Genband A2, be it inskin with a 2100 or the standalone EXPERiUS platform.

If there is I must not be looking in the right place because I can't find it! Thanks!!!

There is not a demand for it.....not popular enough I suppose.

Is this product the CS2100 evolution product? It's basically a revamped Meridian Digital Centrex platform if I am correct? Strange enough....you can use 1100 IP sets manufactured by Avaya on it and CICM, or if you choose digital Meridian M5000 sets now manufactured by Mitel.....soooo weird!

Carrier switches up in Canada are already upgrading to it as well as some LARGE hospitals and soon to be DoD sites in the US. It is the competitor to Avaya, which I know most people here are Avaya supporters. I am a supporter of having some competition out there. You can either go in-skin with a 2100 and keep all your core functionality as well as do SIP, or go with the standalone EXPERiUS for a pure SIP platform.

I just find myself having more and more questions about it and as I get answers to them I always think, man it would be nice if TT had a section on this to archive answers! I have a feeling in a couple years a lot of people will start running down the same path I am, and if we can start collection the information now, it will be there when needed.

I don't know if this is allowed here, but some of the CS1000 folks on the Nortel distro list decided to created one for Genband switches. If this is allowed, here is the link for it -
If this isn't allowed, please let me know.

Thanks!
