Gets a parse error in this line. Don't know what's wrong with it, and it's driving me mad.

fwrite ($fp, $name . "\t" . $mail . "\t" .

Can someone help me, as I'm fairly new in php??

Your post is probably incomplete.
Don't forget to use the [ignore]
Code:
..yourcode..
[/ignore] tags to enclose your posted code.

The way it is now:
Code:
fwrite ($fp, $name . "\t" . $mail . "\t" .

Something is missing.

choice of 2 , which do you prefer? Closing bracket *always* help

Code:
fwrite($fp,$name . "\t" . $mail . "\t" . whatever )
fwrite($fp,sprintf("$name\t$mail\t"));
