I'm a moron on flash, but I need to use it for one of my projects. I would like to write an fscommand to raise an event that I can see in my VB program. I have successfully attached one to a button, but I need one to be raised anytime the flash is clicked, in any frame.

The app will be running full screen, so I can't be clicking anywhere on a form or anything. I see that the shockwave object has no mousedown or click event that is exposed in visual basic.

Any ideas?

TIA.

You could probably use an invisible button over your whole stage area, but that would sort of disable any underlying button, unless you'd maybe use cut-outs (in the invisible button) on those underlying buttons, and apply the same script as the invisible button, along with any other actions on those underlying buttons.

Make sense?

Yes, that does make sense. In fact, this one doesn't use buttons (it was another one I was referring to where I used the button).

This may be a stupid question as well, but is there any way to make an invisible button like you say, and have it statically placed in all keyframes? Without having to copy and paste it in?

Just have it on the top layer covering all the frames of your movie.
