Frontpage Default Settign

Hi all,

I am using FP2002. When I select File/Open it takes me directly to MyWebs. I have created a folder where I would like to save my webs. How can I change the default setting. So, when I use File/Open I go to my folder instead of MyWebs directly.

Does it have to do with Frontpage or the setting should come from outside FP.

First thing, make sure the folder you created is a web. If it isn't, you're going to have a whole bunch of problems making features work. For instance, shared borders won't work in a folder, but they will in a web.

Then go to Tools>Options>General. Select the option Open Last Web Automatically When FrontPage starts. Then open the web. That should do it.

I know that but what I mean is:

Just open FrontPage without opening anyweb, then select File/Open and see what happens. It opens MyWebs as a default. This is what I like to change.

I know how to make FrontPage open the last opened web, and if the web is open then you select File/Open it tries to open from your web.

So, open FrontPage 2002, then close the opened web, don't open any web, then File/Open. It takes you to MyWebs. How to change this.
