OK, first time poster here; sorry if I break any ettiquite rules
How long can the cable run be from the demark to the CSU/DSU ?
I assume that this would depend on total circuit length back to the CO.
So I guess a better question would be:
"How far out can you extend a frame loop (4-wire circuit) ?"
I'm sure that might be telco dependant as well. Using Verizon/Bell Atlantic
I have to extend a circuit 350 feet for a temporary move. I'd rather not have the telco re-punch it and I'm wondering if simply extending the cable from the demark will be sufficient. Cisco 2600 w/CSU/DSU built in used for termination.
Hope this isn't too convoluted.
Thanks,
Eric
