I'm working on a magix and I wanna create four digit dial between two sites.Ie. when someone presses 5*** the system dials a designated string of numbers with the wild cards at the end of the string.pauses might also be a factor. similar to destination codes on mics or remote call forward on a definity

I don't think it's possible the way you are trying to do it. You could set-up a speed-dial for the beginning portion of the numer and then have each user press that button and then the 5-digits for the extension.

Are the systems tied together? If so you would set up the networking and have your non-local UDP be the 5XXX numbers in switch A and say 4XXX numbers as the non-local UDP in switch B. So when you go off hook on site A and dial 5xxx the systems knows it 5xxx are not part of the dial plan and looks to the non-local UDP and routes according to that....hope that helps

Sorry I assume these both are Magix systems. IF not same system still could be done depending on what the other site can handle. Always can consider a service through your local phone company like centranet, where the phone compnay ties the two locations and you access by dialling 9 then the 5xxx to call over or 9,9 then place a local or long distance call...Hope this helps.

Thanks to touchtone tommy I Found a way to do it using a port for each ext, authorization codes and call forward
