I am hoping that one of the very knowledgeable people here could help me. Here is the situation. My company has two plants. One in Ohio and one in Kentucky. In Ky we have an Avaya IP408 phone system and in Ohio we have a Merlin Legend R7. These systems are connected through a T1 through an EM400 card here in Ohio.

Now here is my question. Is there a way for a user in KY to call Ohio and access the paging system? Currently here in OH we dial #9 828 to access the paging system, but I haven't been able to figure a way to let our KY users do this.

Is there a way and if so, how??? Thanks in advance!!

It would have to be set-up as station-side paging. I have done this in the past and basically you call the analog station port (that is connected to the paging amp) to access the paging. The way you are describing your current paging, you currently have line-side paging (828 is line/trunk 828 on the Legend) and would not be able to access it from the remote site.
