Hi

I have the following scenario in a client. A 406V2 (4.0.5) shared between 2 companies. Now each company has it's own number range, but they share a single receptionist with one extension. Because they want the receptionist to know for which client each call is, I created 2 hunt groups (600 & 650)and the only extension in each group is the reception (625). Now, because sometimes the receptionist has to leave her desk I forward unconditionally her extension (625) to an analogue cordless phone (ext 601) so that she can answer incoming calls. The cordless is a Panasonic model. If she is taking a call to the cordless and somebody else calls the 2 main numbers of the 2 companies, instead of the second call to be transfered to the cordless, it rings on the reception ext (625). If it is an other ext calling the reception it gets the busy signal. If I disable "Busy On Held" and enable "Call Waiting On" & "Answer Call Waiting" the second external call still rings on 625 while the second internal call can be answered by the cordless. Finally if I check the "Busy on Held" and I try to "forward on busy" the cordless to another ext or ext number, the second ext call rings on 625 & the second int call receives the busy tone.

Thanks for your patience reading this

In the user section on the forwarding tab, do you have forward hunt group calls checked?

Im sure this has been bought up on here a couple of times and looked like it may have been a bug. Didnt see any thing come up after this though.

On 625 I have it checked (that's why the first call for the hunt groups is being forwarded correctly). On the cordless no, because I don't want to use forward unconditional (I use "Forward on busy" & "Forward Internal calls"). I just want the second call to be forwarded. For the cordless, the calls being forwarded from ext 625 are considered hunt group calls or calls from ext?

Those would be hunt group calls even tho there is only one memeber in the group, it's defined by the routing
