Hi All,

Crystal 8.5
SQL sever 2000

I have a quandry. I have to display data side by side in a report. The problem is that i have to show lists of users who enter and leave side by side by month with associated aggregates. Trouble is when your try and export to excel rather than them being side by side excel puts one under the other any ideas? The format of the report should be as so

Month Jan Month Jan
No of Users No of Leavers
List Of Users Cash Spent List of Leavers Cash Spent
total Cash total cash

Month .. Month....

Thanks in advance

Nature of the beast.

You might try to build a single data source in a Veiw or a Stored Procedure on the database, or return the subreports data as variables using SHARED VARIABLES.

Subreports are slow and should be avoided.

You didn't give people much of a chance at improving the architecture as we've no idea what the data looks like.

I would guess that a Union Query might do what you need, but you need to share specifics:

Example data (show tables used)
Expected output (based on example data)
