Hi,

A friend of mine accidentally formated the D drive instead of the C drive. Can you believe it??

Anyway I am now involved in the painfull process of recovering it all.

I've managed to save a great deal using 'Getbackdata'. But it always seems to be the word docs from what I can tell that create the biggest problem and that is my case.

I have about 4 large word docs that though they have been detected/recovered remain scrambled. I've tried text translation programmes etc but to no avail. I really would like these docs back but am unsure what to do or were to go or invest my money, in software/diy or hand the disc over to a specialist. Or should I be looking at a word recovery package??

Seagate drive: 11 gig. Quick format.

You can recover data easily from formatted hard drive. All data recovery companies are providing ‘do-it-yourself’ data recovery software to recover lost data from formatted hard drive. You can download data recovery software online with demo version.
