I'm using a Dell wireless broadband router and a Dell laptop with a Dell internal wireless card. The laptop connects fine, but the signal strength recently has been fluctuating between low and excellent without doing any work on the laptop or moving it or the router --is that normal? The router is about 30 feet away, almost a direct line of site (a wooden chair is in the line of sight). I've checked every setting I can think of, not that any were changed, and can't seem to figure out what could affect the signal while the laptop is just sitting there.....there are no other users of the router.

The laptop does intermittently lose connection while being used also.

Any ideas?

I believe there was a new set of drivers released in Mid-December.
