flash5 not recognizing active atm fonts

If I have flash open then go to atm and load plus activate a new font flash will not recognize it until I close then restart the program. is there a way to fix this

It's Flash 5.0a and ATM 4.6 MacOS 9.1

sorry wrong ATM this about the the network prtocol ATM not the adobe program ATM but try the upadte to 4.6.1 it was some bugfix in it. So long and thanks for all the fish.
