Fiscal Period Record Selection 1

If you have separate DB fields that contain the fiscal year and the fiscal period, and want to create a record selection formula that restricts data to specific range of of periods, how best to do it? As an example, show all invoices between fiscal year/period 2003/7 and 2004/2.

I am working with Crystal 9.

Is the fiscal period/year one field or two?

Can you not just work with a date field somewhere rather than a fiscal period and year field?

The fiscal year and period are separate numeric fields, and due to some other constraints I can't work with the dates, I must use the fiscal year & period.

Try this:

({FiscalYear} 2003 and {FiscalPeriod} in 7 to 12)
or
({FiscalYear} = 2004 and {FiscalPeriod} in 1 to 2)
