First record of each group Formual needed ASAP please

Hello, I am using both crystal 8.5 and 7 and need to know for each version how to create a formula to display only the first record of each group. All other records should be supressed. I can't find the function to do it. Thanks again.

Placing the Record in the Group header and supressing the detail section will only display the first record within that group.

I agree with crocker, no formula needed. Place the detail fields in the group header Software Support for Macola, Crystal Reports and Goldmine
