Hi, I am using two different education versions of Adobe CS2 Premium edition.

One version has a lot of the filters grayed out in photoshop. The other is missing things like the 'extrude' feature.

I was told the educational version is exactly the same as the 'real' version so I'm wondering why these features are unclickable or missing.

Anyone have any ideas or run into this problem before? It's like the whole program didn't get loaded.

Thanks in advance.

If the filters were not installed, they would not even appear grayed out.

You probably just need to switch from CMYK color mode, which limits the available filters.

Jimoblak is correct but other Filters are greyed out when the bit level is 16 and you may need to switch to RBG 8 bit.

Image > mode RBG and choose 8 bit
