I using XP pro and FileSystemObject will not work in my IIS.......The browser just hangs. I've tried everything. It all looks fine. But to no avail. ASP Ado works fine, etc. but not this Object...... Writing a file to the server or reading one??? This must be a security issue, but where. It's gotta be a bug. Ok, here it comes....HELP!

oooooooo god, you've just made me a member of this bulletin board, for LIFE!! John!, of course. The alert always would come up on my ole laptop(development workstation), Norton anti-virus (SCRIPTING!!), but would give me the option of on the fly removing it's alert. Now I presume, Norton-anti virus, is either so good, or so bad (it really should have alerted me to a potential attack, instead of just halting my browser!!!!!!!!!!!!) that it creates repectful thank you's. JOHN! THANK YOU.

It verks!! Ya know, how many people did not know the answer to this question??? Thank you John, once again. I'll be joining tek-tips NOW!
