I just installed Fedora Core 2 after finally getting a machine that was at least halfway decent. I have two quick questions.
One, how do I edit the actual settings of the bootloader? The only option I currently have is to change default OS to load in to. I want to change the names and the order of things and stuff.
Two, where do I access the firewall from? I believe that it might be blocking me from accessing the internet because my network card is installed correctly and it's set up correctly to use DHCP.

One: it depends.. are you using lilo or grub?

lilo: edit "/etc/lilo.conf" and then execute "lilo"
grub: edit "/etc/grub.conf" and then execute "grub-install /dev/hdX" where X is the boot disk.

Two: what? the linux firewall? or a extern firewall?

if the local (linux) firewall, take a look to "iptables" (man iptables).

You could try "firestarter".. a good front end to configure the linux firewall.

Cheers.
