I have a Norstar that had a 24 channel T1. They use FEATURE 900 to charge calls. We recently replaced the T1 with a PRI and now they no longer can use FEAT 900. We are being told that they can't use FEAT 900 with a PRI, that we have to put a regular T1 in instead. Can someone confirm this for me? My norstar knowledge is extremely limited. Thank you.
 
My site is not entering codes for EVERY call just the ones they want to bill back. Users pickup a line, enter feature 900, enter the 10 digit client matter charge code, then they have 10 to 12 seconds to press OK. However, once OK is pressed, they receive a fast busy signal when they should receive dial tone to enter the telephone number. I really think there is something mis configured in the norstar itself. Timing on the pri really shouldnt be a factor up to this point. Hope we get this worked out.
 
GO TO DIAL PLAN UNDER DIAL TIMEOUT (THE DEFAULT IS 4) CHANGE IT TO 8, I BELIEVE THAT WILL GIVE YOU THE TIME NEEDED IF NOT EXTEND IT OUT A LITTLE FURTHER

we got it solved. it had something to do with the SMDR format. thanks everyone!
