Hello everyone. I am new here,
I need some help finding the correct method of doing this, so here goes.

I have a Mitel MXE 3300 ICP(release 4.2, 10.2.0.26.2) with a analog trunk that's going to be used for Voice and Fax. I have managed to setup the fax detection and it works like a charm.
The setup is as follows:
A fax or call comes in on the specified trunk which in turn is answered by the Auto Attendant, then fax detection takes place and if a fax tone is detected it is redirected to the fax extension. The problem I am having is, how do I get the Auto Attendant to transfer the voice call to the relevant voice extension with out the person calling having to key in anything?

You can't!
The whole point of an auto attendant is to provide the caller with th option to call known extns
If you want an automatic transfer you do not need auto attendant you require DDI
Using analogue this is not possible you will need either BRI/PRI or SIP trunks

If you're using analog trunks it would be possible to add a fax detection device ahead of the PBX and route the call that way.
This would require double the trunk ports you are currently using.
The co would connect to the device, from there voice calls are sent to one trunk port while fax calls are sent to another trunk port.

Sucky solution, but doable.
