Explorer.exe failure

On my Win98 pc, nt4 domain, 10-100 nic, when i log in to the domain explorer will open but will not let me copy, paste, move files, etc. it will let me create a folder.<br>
When i turn the domain log on to off and open win98, explorer works fine but of course I can't see anyone on the network.<br>
the nic works with ping when not logged in to the network and I can get on the internet through the LAN so the NIC and protocol tcp/ip seem to be OK. help<br>

This is a long shot, but ensure that no policies are being enforced down onto your PC.<br>

I'm not sure where the file resides on an NT Server, but it's called config.pol and it will modify your registry everytime you log into the network, and when you don't, it won't (although I thought it keeps them enforced).<br>

One way to check into this is to use the poledit utility found on the Win98 CD.
