Hi friends,

I have recently downloaded a trial version of XMetal Editor.
The look and feel of it is quite good, so I've decided to write my current documentation using the XMetal editor.

Now I'd like to apply a numbering to my sections and subsections. Alas: won't work...

I've chosen "Journalist" as template, added "sections" as section titles and "subsections" as sub-items.

I'd like to assign it a continuous outline numbering, such as
1. section
1.1 subsection
1.2 subsection
2.section
2.1 subsection
2.1.1 sub-subsection

etc.

Usually, I find such things in the associated help file or the latest at googling the issue.
However not in this case. [sadeyes]

Can any of you help me out here?

Thanks!

Cheers,
Andy
