I am writing an application for executing commands on multiple machines at once without having to retype the command for every machine. Currently the application simply reads server names from a text file and executes a command. How do I connect to each machine to execute the commands.

Hiya,

try looking into DCOM. That sounds like it might be what you want to do. With a DCOM object, you can instantiate it on other machines and then use it from wherever you are. There are all sorts of domain and network restrictions, but they're pretty much down to your network settings.

MSDN has loads of helpful stuff on DCOM ActiveX objects, you might find something helpful there.
