Excludes Selection List is ignored

I am using Veritas Backup Exec 10.1 for Windows.

I am trying to exclude "CACHE" directories from all backups. I can exclude the "CACHE" directories if I define it in an individual selection list by defining the server and drive letter, but the "Excludes" selection list is ignored. The syntax I am using in the Excludes selection list is:
Path: \\*\*\**\cache\**\
File: *.*

I'm sure the solution is simple, but I cannot see it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I knew it must have been simple. On my first try this morning I got it to work.

If anyone else is as dense as I am , the answer is:

path: \\*\*\**\cache\
File: *.*

Problem solved.
