Exchange File System Backup

I am new to ArcServe 2000 and use the ArcServe Agent for Exchange to backup the store. I am getting an error about an open file \imcdata\queue.dat and some other .dat files.

I am more used to Backup Exec where I set the agent but deselect several Exchange files from the file system backup. I can't seem to find any ArcServe doc on handling the file system when using the Agent. Any suggestions?

I also just puchased the AS9.0 upgrade if anyone has tips on upgrading.
