Has anyone figured this out

Lets say I want to publish a xls file on the web, that has our costing model on it, I protected the sheet and hid the columns that have the costing

When the sheet is loaded on the web, I can still copy all to a new blank worksheet and it shows up [the hidden columns]

Is their anyway to make sure that no one can see these critical hidden cells

You did say that, Grotto. Sorry.

Anyway. Excel 2000. Enter data into cells, hide column C, protect SHEET. Save as web page; Selection: SHEET (not workbook), and "add interactivity". Close it. Open in Internet Explorer. Click upper, left-hand corner box to select all. Hit Edit-Copy. WRONG! Copy is not available.

Now, I'm not literally publishing to the web...
