I tried to publish a report based on an SQL Designer query and when I tried to run the report, got the following error message:

"Error Message: Not Enough Memory for operation."

I don't get this message when I publish a report where the SQL query is a part of the report, only when I create a report based on an SQL query created in SQL Designer.

Does anybody know what I'm not doing?

Thanks.

Close any programs you have open that you're not using. Do the same for any extra reports that are open and not being utilised, and try again.

Thanks Naith...

It still failed.

Does this error message mean there's not enough memory on the Enterprise Server?

It probably doesn't mean "Not enough memory". You get the same error if you try and run a report via Enterprise that is using a database on a mapped drive, using the URL cures it. This is probably a similar access rights issue. I assume the report runs fine from Reports? Where is the file the SQL query is running on?

Unfortunately, when I queried this error with Crystal, they started my free support which has now expired. If they gave sensible error messages, you would stand half a chance at least!!
