Error message: Group #3: ? - A

Hi All,

I am getting the error message:
Group #3: ? - A
This group section cannot be printed because its condition field is nonexistent or invalid. Format the section to choose another condition field.

There is no group 3... anyone know how I find where this error is taking place? I did not write this report and it has allot of Header and Detail rows. Do I have to go through every one?

There may be no visible Group 3, but it is there, but with no field--the table may have been deleted or something like that. Go to report->group expert and highlight the third field in the list (probably identified as "?") and move it to the left, thus removing the group.

I've encountered this error when I've grouped on a field and then removed that table from the report. Change the Group to a field or formula that does currently exist.

Well...

What I did was just revert to a backed up version and started working on it from that point and the error did not happen again... This is not what I wanted to do but since I could not figure out what where the problem was i have to accept it and move on.

I guess I may never know.
