LOGIN-LGNWNT32.DLL-710: The password could not be changed. Error fffffda7.

This error occurs whevever a user tries to change her password. She's running Win2K and version 4.90.0 SP1a of the Novell Client.

Is this a known issue and is there a fix?

Just a shot in the dark, but the time on the servers might be out of sync. Run DSREPAIR - TIME SYNCHRONIZATION. Every server should report YES. If not, troubleshoot and resolve.

This is definately an NDS error of sorts. Searches of the Novell website indicate you could have a corruption somewhere in your DS, either a corrupt object or an issue with the schema.

Do you get errors if you run a DSREPAIR on the local database?

Thx for the replies. I updated the users client to 4.0 SP2 and that resolved the issue.
