I have a network of about 200 machines. Over the last couple of weeks, the hard drives have been filling up on the WIN98 machines. The temp files created are about 5.08mb each and have the EPO shield in them. After I remove the temp folders, I defrag and the machines seem fine, but for how long?

The temp folders all contain EPO files. I have since discovered that the logon script that we were running in the user profiles was the culprit.

I removed the logon script, and eliminated the problem. Thanks.

I'm glad to hear that you've cleared all this up, but I'm still left wondering what you mean by "EPO files". There's no EPO file extension that I've ever heard of. EPO log files or something maybe?

Anyway, it doesn't matter. :0)

No, just files created by EPO trying to update McAfee. Cmdagent, Epo shield, etc. Each folder contains the same files, so it is creating a new folder each time the user logs onto the network. Deleting the logon script eliminated the problem, but now EPO doesn't push down the updates, so I scheduled each machine to update on a weekly basis.
